What is the CYPGolf Tournament?
Charlotte Young Professionals Group’s 5th annual CYPGolf Tournament a will serve the organization’s diverse group of
350+ members and their guests in supporting and fundraising for four local charity partners who make a significant impact
in the Charlotte community. Since CYPG’s inception in 2019, the organizaiton has donated $150,000+ to our charity
partners. We hope you will consider being part of the collective impact we can have as a community to drive
transformational giving toward our charity partners.
Meet the Benefiting Charities
Carolina Youth Coalition
Carolina Youth Coalition (CYC) empowers high-achieving, under-resourced students to succeed in college. Founded in 2018, CYC offers academic, social, and leadership support, helping students navigate the barriers that low-income families face in higher education. Their goal is to increase college graduation rates for first-generation and low-income students, fostering lasting generational change. CYC Fellows receive personalized resources and mentorship, ensuring they have the same opportunities as their more resourced peers.

Freedom Communities
Freedom Communities is dedicated to family-centered community transformation, primarily focused on West Charlotte's Freedom Drive Corridor. Their mission is to disrupt the cycle of intergenerational poverty by providing holistic support to families. They simultaneously invest in both people and infrastructure, helping to foster upward mobility and long-term economic stability. By acting as a "connective tissue" in the community, Freedom Communities equips families with the tools needed to thrive and drive lasting change in their neighborhoods.
